I’m waiting to see the price for it.
because as nice as it is, a FoRS or a GoRf in canada are dam near 50k...and 50k for a focus? fuck that. At least the VW, you can argue its a cheaper, hatch S3
if this is anywhere near the same, count me out.

that threw me off too. I mean, sure, its a bit extreme...but its a fast civic, they all look like this.

Love the fact that Honda is bringing a Type R to the states, but that wing is DUMB.
It sounds like it will be wild, but it looks like trash. Regardless, it’ll be out of my price range anyway.

Yeah but hopefully they’ll bring a lot of these to the states, and they might depreciate a little bit. Realistically, these are way outside of my price range as well

A reasonable expectation, regarding depreciation. Regarding bringing a lot, though....I’d tend to believe Tom McParland’s statement .

Honda Si’s and R’s were fairly subtle from the factory. it’s all the body kits that made them look this EXTREEEEEMME

‘90 si’
yea, i’m 100% sure you were going to drop the 40+K this thing is going to be for it. 100%.
sides, the new civics all look like some weird sedan/coupe/hatch thing, so IDK what he is going on about?

I would rather pay more for a Ford than a VW. You are probably going to end up paying more eventually anyways for the VW via maintenance. We shall see though if any of these recent hot hatches can last 100k+ miles and still be in decent shape.

This thing looks ridiculous, I enjoy that. Should be nice to see Honda actually do something outrageous for once. They have been playing it way too safe.

the EA888 motor has been proven for YEARS under high HP applications. look at how many APR tuned MK5, 6 and 7s have been running around for the past decade. 300HP from that engine is nothing.

I agree now
